The spindle (or axle) on my Sun 24" is twisted, and I need something stronger. . . I don’t have a lot to spend, but I need a good strong hub and it’s worth what it’s worth. If anyone has any advice, I’d appreciate it.
Assuming that you have a square taper hub the best deal going is a unicycle.com CrMo hub. It is much stronger than your Sun hub, stronger than a square taper Titanium hub (if that’s even available), and it fits your square taper cranks.
Cool, thanks! I didn’t know chromoly was stronger than titanium, that’s interesting. I was expecting to spend more than that, too, so I really appreciate it. And thanks for being patient with my limited knowledge of such things.
