The Shakespearean thread...eth

Forsooth, shall not this thread be-eth devot’d to Shakespeare! I have Shakespeare on the brain, for I have been studying the man’s plays f’th’last two years at school. Them that would fein to post’th in this thread, would i ask thee to reply in true Shakespearean dialect - it is quite funeth! In memory of this great playwright, let us post’th thine funniest Shakespearean insults - and the best doth win! I shall start’th us off:

Thou villainous hedge-born barnacle!

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Habby, wherefore art thou speaketh like a Pirate?

Doest thou not knowest the difference betwixt a bandit and the Bard?

Should thou insults of thine one wheeled nymphs be direct quotes of master shakespeare’s literature, or shakespeare inspired?

If thus are the rules I must abide or thou mighst accuseth me of being an…

Idol of idiot-worshippers.

thy shall beat thou down with thee metaphorcial stick

thy shall casturate thee testies and throw thou in a pool of lemony juices

I’ve been living in his home town for the last 21 years, it gets old really fast.

Alack! For I too have Shakespeare on my mind. My clan journeyed to Canada to see Much Ado About Nothing. Ahhh, It were a masterfull play! Hast anyone else ever seen this comedy?

Alas, seen Much Ado About Nothing have i not, but ‘King Lear’ I have, verily. T’was well done indeed. I have decided, quoth i, that trying to speaketh this accursed dialect is not nearly as enjoyable as I first imagined. 'Tis bloody annoying, in fact.

Too bad the insults didn’t catch on. Thanks for the thread though; with a little help from Google I found the Shakespearean Insulter and much more!

Great fun.

Well, lets drop the infurating accent and continue thusly with the insults! Let the games begin…

Thou appeareth nothing to me but a foul and pestilent congregation of vapours!

Take that!

Et tu, Brier?

Friends, Unicyclists, countrymen, lend me your ears…

I gather you either dont like Shakespeare, or you find this thread stupid

“When words are scarce they are seldom spent in vain”

-William Shakespeare, when asked how he felt about the current state of JC

Uh… I just felt like sayething something…

I thought it was quite clever, Et tu Brute to Et tu Brier. Fittingly portrayed the betrayal felt when fellow unicyclists insult each other.

Never fear, tis all in jest and goode humour.

Friends, cyclists, countrymen, send me your gears.

Ooh, here’s a cracker:

Thou art a fusty nut with no kernel, thou impertinent fool-born pignut!
