I’ve heard about that, basically they give you money and put you on a cruise ship for a while.

I’ve been on all sorts of boats, two cruise ships and a submarine and I never had any sea-sickness. I mean I went into the open sea on them, not just an excursion in the port or anything for any non-believers.

Well, I’ve crossed the Meditteranean sea in a ship four times. I was fine.
Point is, you get to travel and hang out with other multi-cultural students. Isn’t that cool? Even if some of them keep puking their brains out every now and then(a lot of students tend to do that anyway after a good night out).
That would be sweet.
Point is, you’re stuck with a small group of strangers for quite a while. Like them or not, they’re your only friends for some time, and you can’t avoid 'em if you try.
At a real uni you can draw friends from a pool of thousands, or you can be completely invisible if you like, the choice is yours.
Go to any prestigious university in the US and you’ll be in a veritable multi-cultural soup. Top unis tend to draw students from all over the world.
