The Mist

I just saw this movie and I thought it was really good. I won’t wreck it for anyone, but I thought it had a brilliant ending.

Has anyone else seen it? What did you think?

that ending sucked… absolutely terrible… sucked to the max… I wont tell what it was because that would suck for people who want to see it but yeah, that ending SUCKED!

This has always been one of my favourite Stephen King short stories.

I am really looking forward to going to see this.

in the begining the main character is a artist who paints movie posters and he was painting some posters for various Stephen King things, in a creepy thunderstorm, next to a big window.

The mist was my absolute favorite King story.

I’m really looking forward to seeing the movie.

I think you will enjoy it. Post back after you watch it.

The ending was freaking amazing. I mean, even if your typical movie has a good ending you just walk out of the movie and go “that was a pretty good movie/ending” but The Mist’s ending left me thinking about it for like, 3 days and was one of the best movie endings I’ve ever seen. I don’t get why so many people hated it.

because it was soooo freakishly ironic and terribly mean to the main character…

I liked the ending so much because I have gotten to used to seeing movies with happy endings. The good guys always win, or even if the main character dies, his family lives on and it’s still a happy ending.

I’ve always wanted to see a movie where all of the good guys die and the bad guys win. Or just a movie with a really sad, unexpected ending like this one.

And THAT is why I love Steven King

I’ve never read any books by him, so being someone who wasn’t expecting it the ending sucked…

I just watched it and thought it was good what a twist.
my dad is a stepehn king fan that has read all his books and he loved the movie although he said the ending was added for the effect.
my mom hated it.

i saw it today and i hated it. the ending was terrible:(

why do endings need to be happy to be considered good. the ending was great tragic but great

I love sad ending, they make me feel better.

I just didn’t like it because it was sooo ironic and predictable… and well yeah… it just wasn’t a very good ending in my opinion…

SPOILER, DON’T READ IF YOU WANT ENDING GIVEN AWAY

It was predictable that the main character would kill everyone he had left, would walk outside in attempt to kill himself, and then help arrives leaving him with nobody?

.

i thoght it was kind of stupid that he gave up hope so quickly but the rest was good

Yeah, i guess I watch too many horror movies like that… I was able to predict most of the plot twists and such… from the point where they started driving i told my friend sitting next to me, I bet you $10 that the hero only has 4 bullets left and shoots everyone but himself then as soon as he does help comes and everyone who stayed in the store is saved… needless to say he’s seen as many of these movies as I have so he didn’t take the bet… it would have been easy money with any of my other friends…

How did the bald lady that left the store at the beginning survive?
