These adapters make braking on a unicycle with a traditional handle much better. Forget the KH Starfighter, these are by far the best solution if you have a standard plastic handle.
I have various colours, see photos. With this batch I aimed for much lighter colours. The red came out more of a pink. Some of these levers have sold, so check the stock list at the bottom of this post.
These are modified and anodised by me. They come in both left and right versions. This has been the cause of a lot of confusion, but I think the ones with a stamped L actually work better for righties and vice versa. I will let you make up your own mind.
They are ÂŁ15 each plus whatever it costs to post to your country.
The three black R levers have small patches where they didn’t anodise properly, so they are £12 each.
I have four of these left. Two orange, one pale green and one blue. All are left handed but to be honest you can fit them either way around and it doesn’t make too much difference.
Your post have been highlighted on our french uni forum … and we are now more than 3 interested (me and @toutestbon from Rennes, but also other riders) : any chance you’ll make an other batch ?
Noice. Honestly this component are seems like a brilliant idea. Are you planning on making any more in the future?
ATM I’m using the stock brake that came with my mad4one uni, do you reckon it’ll fit? BTW I’m in Spain, how much would it cost including P&P?
One more thing, I grab my uni saddle and pull the brake lever with my left hand. Do I need the model stamped L or the R? Which side is the lever you’ve left for? Thx
He didn’t make them. Those were MTB-gadgets from the 90s and maybe early 2000s. It’s all NOS from back then. The aim was to be able to brake while grabbing the barend. They were available from brands like Tektro, Shogun and many more. You can still find them online:
