There are lots of threads out there about men having comfort issues with their testicles and the saddle. If you do a search on the issue you’ll find a lot of the discussions recommend this website http://www.internationaljock.com/suspensories.html I thought I would give the products a try and report back to the group.
I tried the Champion and the TruForm. This is a very quick review. They don’t work for unicycling. There is to much action going on down there for them to stay on properly. The idea is great and the TruForm worked for about two free mounts, then it slipped off and I was back to were I started. After trying on the Champion it was obviously it would not work and I didn’t try it.
Fortunately, the company sent a nice jock strap as a gift. This turned out to be far superior for the task at hand.
That would be handy but for now I am going to stick to Lycra and BIF. Keep us updated on the crotch bras for sure! If you find something worthwhile I wouldn’t mind trying something new.
Compression shorts are probably the better way to go. I wear the tight cycling shorts which are essentially compression shorts with a pad. Works OK, but it still depends a bit on the brand and style of shorts.
The International Jock Bulge Booster that they have listed under Thongs looks interesting. I’m not going to link to it because the image is slightly more than PG. Might work OK if the business part doesn’t cause chafing or discomfort when unicycling.
There actually is a product call “BallBra”. If the suspensories gave you a laugh then the BallBra will cause hysterical laughter, especially given the way they market it. I’ll let you google for it cause the links are GP but still risqué.
I wear the ‘Champion’ when I wear jeans and not bike shorts. With jeans, it provides slightly more comfort than what is provided by the bike shorts. Bike shorts are good enought without the suspensory.
