I was wondering about that too while watching the Super Bowl. I just googled and found some answers: How Come Prince Didn’t Get Electrocuted At The Super Bowl?
There were several other articles in the google search with the same question and same conclusion. I’m wondering about the synths in the band. They wouldn’t like the rain at all. How did they make the synths work in the rain?

I was impressed by Prince’s performance. Usually the Super Bowl halftime shows are embarrassingly bad. Prince did great especially for the raining conditions. He was singing and playing, no lip syncing or air guitar. Amazingly well done and the silhouette with his funky guitar was golden.

The National Anthem by Billy Joel sounded processed. Didn’t sound like natural singing and an acoustic piano. There was some effects processing going on there and probably some vocal processing.

He was going wireless. Thats the way most performers have been doing it for years now.

Years ago I wanted a wireless setup, but they were so expensive, but now I can get one for about 50 dollars. =p

Many that live deserve death…some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them? Do not be so quick to deal out death and judgment.
‘Good’ music is subjective.
The music isn’t usually the point of the halftime show. The main thing is, Prince did put on an interesting and entertaining show. It was just something different.

That is it. Prince did a good show. Prince isn’t my kind of music but I can appreciate the performance. It was a good halftime show unlike most every other year.

I have a melted Prince cassette tape hanging from my desk lamp. I melted it back in my freshman year of college cause Prince was such a flamer. Aerosol plus a lighter makes a cassette tape into a melted art piece.
