So is it better to buy organic or to buy locally grown produce?
Definitely.
Haha, Thai Fighters!
Well, and here’s the conflict, organic food implies less chemical abuse, but locally grown produce implies less petroleum abuse. Is there a trade off worth vying for?
Kill everyone!
What would Theodor say? Or you for that matter?
Organic is bad for the economy, it uses much more land to produce much less product. And in the category of beef, a steer grown with hormones, contains less hormone (which is estregen) than a regular bull or heifer, and more grain and time and resources must be used to get the bull/heifer to wieght than a steer raised with hormones…therefore, organic beef is really bad, and organic veggies are semi-bad
Kill the whales, Chew the fat
Nuke the whales!
You took the words right out of me mouth, Forest!
What’s your source regarding cattle hormones? It sounds counter-intuitive
No, save the whales, collect the whole set!

That’s right. I draw you in and let the propaganda do my bidding.
I’m only an amateur lable reader and the question was posed to me once, I’d say organic, but that’s not a serious thought only my reaction to unbridled capitalism in agriculture. Actually here’s my precursor: Google Wal-Mart and Organic. Apparently the leviathan is interested in becoming the worlds largest organic merchandiser, and to what effect… I don’t know. Once they begin to lobby the legal definition of organic food, as plenty in the industry already have, I can’t say anything good is in the cards.
Grow your own food. Or get it from the dumpsters behind trader joes, or my favorite, in richmond, ellewood thompson.
I already posted this website

When they grow on top of my drinking water, I can live (longer) with that.
