Hi guys, after a busy year I’ve found myself some time to revisit the trusty community we have and I’m looking to connect with others to encourage me to head out more often. I’m based in Basingstoke, Hampshire. Is there anyone else nearby who would be up for a ride?
What does nearby mean to you ? I am actually pretty close (180 or so km), but the other side of the channel…

There’s a few around Bristol/Bath/Cardiff. Also Peterborough, Cornwall and Forest of Dean. So as Aurelien says I suppose it depends how you define ‘close’!
Might be too far and too short notice but there’s a British muni weekend at Dalby this weekend. Check the Facebook group (British Muni Weekend) for upcoming meets. Im not sure if there will be many more this year as winter approaches and camping becomes less enjoyable but there are usually 3 or 4 muni weekends a year.

I was talking about you Dave, but I didn’t want to volunteer you for a meet by name as I didn’t think it was my place to do that. No offence intended, though I seem to be capable of being offensive without even trying 
To be fair my English geography is not very good either so I have no idea how close Basingstoke is to Peterborough.
I was merely saying that there are definitely unicyclists around. Though away from unicon it’s rare to spot one ‘in the wild’!

Aah there was me hoping there was someone I’d missed and trying (and evidently failing) to make a bit of a joke out of it! - sorry @OorWullie . I’m in the other big city in that area, the one with punts…
I’m limited to public transport so getting to Basingstoke is a mare but hope to see you at things in the future and do let me know if you find yourself up in my direction…
Wild unicyclists are hard to catch, I know there are at least 4 of us in Cambridge but good luck actually spotting someone…
