hmm okay, now they all work, exept for “handrail01.avi” IT says “sending request for codec” , then “error dectecting codec”
Then a window pops up that says “cannot play video stream: no suitable decompressor could be found”

What does this mean, and how can i see the grinding of of 9 set?!?

Andrew, this is primarily the type of riding my friends and I try to emulate. We can’t slide down big rails yet, but we can do smaller stuff…
Hopefully one day I can do the railslide and pedal off backwards…:slight_smile:

You need the codec to decode the avi files. If you goto www.divx.com you can download everything you need…

Have you tried redownloading it? It could mean it didn’t download properly for some reason…

Handrail01 is encoded with DivX. I think it’s the only video in there that is DivX.

Go to <http://www.divx.com/&gt; and download the DivX codec. Get the free version (the one without the adware). You don’t need the Pro version or the adware version to be able to play DivX encoded videos.

Got it! but now the sound doesn’t play on that one! Oh well, good enough for me!

His website does not work anymore. I used to have his videos saved, but I must have deleted them. Does anyone have them or know where I can find them?

I have tried for months to get www.wastecoast.com to work… it always says page cannot be displayed, or found. I also tried clicking on the links that are posted on here… I am dying to see these!! PLEASE help me! What did you guys do to get it to work??? Thanks fellow unicyclers!!

I have his demotape movie (42MB) and many of his short clips that he posted, but I don’t want to upload them without permission from Dan. Anyone know how to contact Dan? If I can get the OK, I’ll upload them to a gallery.
