Some sad news...

I recently heard that my grandpa who has alzheimer’s only has about two more weeks to live. :frowning: It’s not too big of a surprise as the last time we went to his nursing home because he looked terrible. He hasn’t been eating and is really down and out. It’s really sad because he was such a nice genuinley kind man. I know everyone on here would have been great friends with him if you had known him. Anyway, just to let cha know… :frowning:

here is a pic of him:

He always went to church. He’s definitely going to heaven.

Even If he did go to church all the time, make sure he is saved. K? Sorry to here bout it.

Yes, I agree with Billy. That’s what friends are for. And you have many friends here, Tyler.

Thanks Dave, that makes me feel better to know I have friendly support here. Friends rule!

Thats too bad tyler!
I hope your family is ok.
And I too see the family resenbilance-you look a lot like your grandfater!

i want to second (or third) the ‘thanx for sharing’ comment

are u planning on seeing your grandpa again sometime soon?

ever consider that the gentleman may have an outlook on life that is different from yours?
quit the preaching and let Tyler get on with the reality of saying farewell to a beloved grandparent in whatever way is right for him and his family

Yes, we are going to his nursing home for easter.

i’m sure u realise that it’s not going to be the easiest visit in the world

is he your mom or your dad’s dad?

Yea, I don’t know what to say to him when we leave? Goodbye? C ya in heaven? I love you? He’s my mom’s dad. I’m just really glad that when he does pass away that it won’t be a big shocker like it was when my uncle (grandpa’s son who was exactly like him in his great personality) passsed away at age 51 because of a heart wall rupture.

I love you is always good
