It sounds like its basically the same thing as gtalk only you cant text message with it. Am I wrong?
its pretty much the same, yeah, but theres more people using Skype than there are using Gtalk.
as far as I know, anyway…
I hate having windows 98 SE. Cuz nothing good works with it.
Firefox does, but it sucks right now.
Well ive eventually got round to installing it, mine is unicycleboy
Recently I bougth such a T-mobile MDA, with ‘unlimted’ internet (over GPRS over GSM),
and as it runs Windows PocketPC, it can run that Skype release as well.
On GSM my connection sucks. On another ph. on UMTS I have 300kbps down.
So I’m able to IM in Skype, but speech screws up soon.
If I connect this phone to the net over BlueTooth AND WiFi, I can use Skype for speech. Can even use the headset.
So now I run (almost all) my European and American phone-numbers on one single gadget.
I have skype.
I got skype
They call me
unipaco
I can’t guarantee that I’ll ever be online, but I’ve got it now, mainly so I can talk to my relatives in Alaska.
i guess ill get it, then when i do ill come on here and tell you all my name
yes, in time to edit!
my name on skype is habbywall, im not sure when i will be online though, probably never, you’d be better off calling my cell
skype now has free calls to landlines and mobiles within the US and Canada!
maybe ill use it now
Since when? Any pointers?
It started recently, what do you mean by pointers?
A link, like this one: http://www2.ebay.com/aw/core/200605.shtml#2006-05-15130444
New from the chairman of Skype you don’t expect on eBay.com
But on Skype I saw nothing.
But it explains why the counter of my SkypeOut goes so slow.
I saw it on the make blog and then downloaded it again and tried it out.

Since recent I have the only USB condenser microphone out there.
As USB is 12V, it does not need other power.
It’s my 1st condenser mic that I use myself, and it’s a big difference!
I use it on Skype to.
Since recent Radio 1 (“the propaganda channel”, financed by the government) is using Skype as well.
So, today I was on national radio on “line-quality”.
Mixed just like a satelite or ISDN connection (1st production crew, then live, and including all monitoring).
So I talk in my mic at home, and it’s broadcasted live on a FM frequency nationwide.
They (and me as well) are very enthousiast about using it this way, as it’s much better than a PSTN (AKA POTS) or regular ISDN (voice)phone-line.
right! makes perfect sense.
scratches head
I got skype
add me
MrMercy3
I may actually start to use this now, since it has the landline phone thing.
HMMM
