Their graphics are just awesome! Some of them are done by quite influent artists…
What I like about skullcandy is that they have a life time warrenty… buuuut… seeing as your from Brazil, I’m not sure how thats gonna work.
They have support here…
I just don’t got any stuff from Skull Candy here cause it’s way too overpriced… In stores you can find the Hesh for 250 Us Dollars… lol
Since the warranty is lifetime and worldwide, worths getting it over there
Agree with Gild, friends dont let friends buy skullcandy.
Whats the point in getting an ipod for the sound if your just gonna put skullcrap in your ears?
But than again I like music… A lot.
Also agree with Cotton.
F apple products. They suck you in and you cant get anywhere else.
Only reason I still use the ipod. All my stuff is made for it. I would have to buy more, and I am poor.
Bummer. I was on vacation and missed a headphone thread.
I wouldn’t have been able to contribute much. I don’t like using in-ear earphones so don’t have much experience on what to suggest in that area. I also don’t know much about how to deal with hard or abusive use that damages cables and cable connections. Any of the on-ear street style headphones that I’m familiar with don’t have an especially durable cable or cable connections.
I’ve heard rumors that there’s one or two models of Skullcandy in-ear headphones that don’t suck as bad as the other Skullcandy in-ear headphones. Some of their in-ear headphones have a big bass boost that destroys any possibility of sound quality. Some have a nice waterfall falloff at 10 kHz. The Skullcandy web site is completely unhelpful in identifying which earphones have the huge bass boost. Unless you’re able to audition them (and who wants to audition in-ear earphones that someone else has stuck in their ears) how are you to know which ones that don’t suck as much?
Friends don’t let friends buy Skullcandy or Bose.
iPods are still one of the better players. They are one of the very very few that do gapless playback. They also have reasonably good sound quality for a portable.
Apple is getting more proprietary and locked down with the Touch and iPhone. The direction Apple is going is clear and it is not the path of openness and interoperability. So yeah, Apple isn’t our friend. But for now they make a good portable in the form of the Classic and Nano that people have been able to reverse engineer so they can be used with software other than iTunes.
Maybe, just maybe, we’ll get some Google Android based portable music/media players that do gapless playback and are more open than Apple’s offerings. I’m hopeful but not optimistic that the Android based players will meet my requirements for portable music playback.
What?? lmao. Explain.
Skullcrushers
if youare still going to buy skullcandys i definatly recomend getting the skullcrushers. they are a bit more pricy but the best skullcandys ive ever listened to in my life. i just got them for Chanuka yesterday and havent stopped listening to them since (im listening to them now). The bass subwoofers just make it. they’re comfy, warm (for winter in my case) and fit nice and snug, so i cant see youhaveing to worry about them falling unless you are doing trials or big street, or if you yourself falls. Ive owned the lowriders, smokin buds, icons and listened to my friends G.Is, Agents and HEsh and non of them compare. thats just my opinion anyways
All the skullcandy headphones I have tried were crap. And somebody was saying that the ipod actually sounds better, which is true, but only slightly better sounding. So my point was, you arent gonna get better sound with an ipod if your gonna use crappy headphones anyway… aka skullcandy+ipod=crap.
What kind of music do you listen to and how much bass are you dialing in? I’m going to take a guess that it’s rap or electronica where heavy bass is kinda fun.
I believe those skullcrushers are the ones you can feel move when there is bass?
If so, I really dont know how those can be good for someones ears/brain. And also, I think they move because there is a motor in there making it vibrate like your phone…
I just dont get that… Whoever came up with it is crazy.
