Have any of you tried skipping (jumping rope) while on a unicycle? I tried it today and it’s lots of fun. I couldn’t do it for very long but I managed a little bit of skipping. I couldn’t manage to skip backwards but I skipped forwards by holding the bit of rope behind me with it over my shoulder as well so that it didn’t get in the way of the wheel. Then I rode forwards for a bit, did a little still stand and started swinging the rope (in the normal way with both hands) and hopping by holding the saddle with my legs. I used a slightly different (and more scrappy) method in the video I took but it worked both ways.
I’m having some problems with moving photos from my main album into a nested album. I’ve tried clicking on ‘Move Photo’ and then selecting the first and last of a group and choosing the album that I want them to go into. Then I clicked ‘Move’ and it refreshed the album but nothing had moved. Can anyone please help me with this?
Thanks Klass. Do you know if they were hopping for every time the rope passed underneath them when they set the records? Or were they allowed to spin the rope 2 or 3 times for each hop?
Can anyone please help me with my gallery problems?

You’re in good company Andrew. In the thread to rsu where the rope
skipping record was announced (25 Feb 2002), Kris Holm asked the same
question. Andy Cotter replied:

The rope only passes under the wheel one per hop. We have learned to
hop just high enough so the rope can just fit under. We have played
around with doing a double (rope going around twice per hop) but it
seems to be quite hard. I have done it several times but only after
lots of attempts. Maybe if somebody put their mind to it they could
get it with some consistency. -Andy

I think Einstein would turn in his grave if he read this. Thomas Alva
Edison invented the lightbulb.

Let us know if it works.

Ah but you omitted the credit to Homer Simpson until now. And I’m no
follower of the Simpsons myself.

A day on Earth is getting longer every day because the Earth’s rotation is slowing down.
