I just googled “shipwright’s disease” and almost every site on the front page was a British Car site.

I leave to ponder the significance of this.

Having had a British Car once, and being unicyclist, I felt a strange sense of consilience when I saw the list. Hence the post.

There’s a bad Lucas (Prince of Darkness) joke in here with all the talk of British cars and the exmple explaining shipwright’s disease starting with a light bulb and electrics.

Still, I miss my Triumph. . .

Maybe if we say it enough we can get to number one!

hmm, i had a motor overheat on my helicopter, now it’s in pieces and there’s over £100 worth of parts on their way. Hmm.

What do you do if you’re over the ocean and your radiator hose drains out all the fluid?

lol would this be like me taking my engine apart to change the gaskets, and now needing to buy all new piston rings, journals, tools to clean the bores out, new gaskets, hoses, seals for the offset sphere joints… (the list goes on, and thats just the engine… the body needs loads!)
