Seeking advice on a G29 build (titanium frame?)

Got it, thanks.

The build has begun!

Is the cat part of the build? If you put it inside the wheel, will it make it roll like a hamster? :upside_down_face:

No, she’s only inquiring whether I’ve diverted her fish fund.

It’s my first time lacing a rim, it’s fun and not particularly hard with the help of the great videos made by ParkTools; it only requires a tad of patience. The LBS guys praised me for my work, proud of it!

Putting on the tire was the hardest part, as discussed here. Fortunately I found the right guys to help me install it, just before I was going to give up.

So my Ultimate Commuter build is now done! Thanks to everyone who gave me help in this process!

Pics will come soon!

That looks very nice. Very clean. Very envious I am.

That is a thing of beauty! Great choices all round :yum:

You may have mentioned it elsewhere, but what rim is that?

It’s a Nextie, with an inner width of 35mm, weighs 450g.
