I’d like to get a longer seatpost for my Schwinn. The existing one is about
8.5 inches long and I probably need about one notch longer to be able to get a
nice leg extension. I’m 6’1".
Is a longer seat post available? Where could I purchase one? Tom Miller? Call my
local Schwinn dealer?
One other question, is it best to put the ball (front area) of your foot over
the pedal, or the instep? Looking at the pictures in Jack Wiley’s book it
appears that he uses his instep, but common cycling advice is to use the ball
of the boot.
