rolling hop tutorial

Im wondering if this video helped someone…

from the other thread.

As like most tips on tricks, it was stating the obvious. I think anyone practicing gaps for a while would have tried those things.

yeah, but i don’t see many people at all landing sideways like i do, but then again, that causes a lot of tires to fold.

Doesnt matter, anyone with a resonable crank length wont slip.

lol
i can’t control mine sometimes if I land straight, no matter what the uni is like.

Then why are you making a tutorial?

because I can
and because I know how to jump, and i know a way to land that works well.

I think another integral part of the rolling hop is tucking the wheel so it lands in front of you. This will help you get farther, and will also keep you from falling forwards at the landing. The tutorial was good, but I think the titles were a little fast, and it would have been better if you had narrarated it, like in Shaun’s crankflip tutorial. Good work though.

lol
thats what i forgot, i knew i forgot something important! thank you
i didn’t want to do narrartion for many reasons.

I think landing sideways is pretty stupid. It just makes the jump look sketchy.

it looks way better than having to slow down after you hit the ground, which you do a lot of times, especially if you are landing on a surface level w/ the takeoff surface.
