Requesting Videos: Fast downhill riding and Commuting (dealing w/ pede, traffic, etc)

Thanks. I’m riding 26" guni. Previously I was riding 29" and mounting required bit more effort, but apart from that I don’t see that much difference in traffic-riding (not taking gears into consideration of course). And as for the cycle-friendly streets - most of them are - I select such streets whenever I can. And, as I wrote before, it was Sunday, so streets were emptier. Especially the first part from the bus overtaking me to first stop at red light is not that cycling friendly on a working day.

I tried a different route and tried to hug the right side and yeah…it sucked. There was this jerk with a big truck that squeezed right past me, if I had gone any faster I’d run into the back of a park car.

But I realized then that if it’s a big lane then I can hug right and if it’s a small lane then I take over the lane.

What if the lane doesn’t have the bike symbol? Do I just take it anyway? Most of the streets near me don’t have bike lanes, it’s in the city where it has more. I’ll check up on some of the links you gave me.

Scary thing about unicycling is, if you UPD with cars behind you, oh boy…
For bikes, you have to be going fast or hit one monster pothole or something like that to really make you lose your balance (besides the usual pedestrian and cars popping out of nowhere).
