I have been on several rides with a Reeder handle and Magura Brake using the Wilder bracket. I wasn’t sure it would work at all at first, but it works great. One advantage of using the Reeder handle and brake is the Reeder handle will protect the brake lever during falls most of the time.
The brake action feels as good if not better than using the standard Miyata seat handle. Descending is nice with the handle, because you can rest your weight comfortably on the handle while braking.
