Any one here tried using Race Face Turbine LP cranks on their MUni’s? How
about any other Race Face? How long will Black Widow Euro cranks hold up?
Remember I am 180 pounds and about the biggest jumps I might de
would be about 2-2 1/2 feet. Any Idea's would be helpful.
Is about the Best wide downhill rim you can get a Sun Double Wide
rim?

Hey Max,
I can provide some info on my experience with the Black Widow Euro
cranks …
There are light, really light, however I bent them fairly significantly
after about a month of constant 4 - 5 foot drops and heavy trail use (my
technique was pretty poor at that time, I didn’t roll out of drops, which
is a must! I only weigh 150 pounds, so I’m not that heavy).
If you stick to the trails and 2 - 2.5 foot drops I think the Black
Widow’s will hold up fine for you for quite some time. I don’t know
anything about the Race Face cranks.
I’m eyeing the Kooka Downhill cranks as my next set, but we’ll see.

I run a HED. 45 on mine. It’s about 100 grams lighter than a Sun
Doublewide, but same width. Unfortunately they don’t make 24-inchers. See
