Quidditch rules online

A set of rules for Unicycle Quidditch can now be found at
http://www.uk.unicyclist.com/quid.html

These rules are based on Quidditch rules for broomstick players as found
in “Quidditch Through The Ages by Kennilworthy Whisp” a book borrowed from
the Hogwarts school libary.

The Pitch size for Unicycle Quidditch has been left un-specified , use
your common sense and make it fit the space you have, a broom stick
Quidditch pitch is a huge oval 500ft long, 180ft wide and few of us mere
muggles have access to sports halls that big. The first game of uni
quidditch was played outdoors on a very large pitch and was in concequence
quite slow.

Teams should have 7 players, but we have had larger teams with more
beaters and chasers added in order to allow everyone who wanted to play.

Constrution of suitable goals is likewise left to the individual. This is
in keeping with the development of broom stick Quidditch and is a matter
to be standardised at a later date.

Have fun sarah

My head hurts. Sounds like a cross between hockey, basketball and mayhem.
Can I be the Golden Snitch?

Well the general feeling after the first game was that it had been totaly
daft but good fun.
