okay so its not just me, the front 2 bolts need to be longer. i got 2 saddles but they only sent 4 bolts (but no loss). I just need to grab 4 longer ones. The adhesive on the foam is deadly! At least the front 2 bolts are much easier to change out.

Petty cool

Wow, a uni factory girraffe, a miyata and a schwinn.

This is what I call something that makes me wish I lived closer to the seller.

id snap that up in a second!

Anyone looking for a torker DX?

Bikewagon.com has a couple in stock at a serious discount - $229 for the DX20 and $239 for the DX24. Add to that the fact that they have a 15% off everything offer for labor day (coupon code: LABORDAY13), and that’s a heck of a deal if it’s a uni you want.

They have the wrong picture up on their site, but the description and MSRP are coprrect for the DX, rather than the LX they show.

Too bad I gave up waiting for a sale from them and ordered an Impact Athmos from the fine folks at UDC last week…

That makes me wish I was in the market for one. :stuck_out_tongue:

Old, probably original Coker here for only $230! I’m guessing it’ll be gone very soon.

Anybody know if the Coker has square taper cranks?

It does.

Did you see how rusty that Coker is? So sad…

Yeah it’s sad, but it looks fully functional anyway. Nothing some steel wool and paint wouldn’t clear up.

$85 is pretty cheap for a full b*ke set of maggies, right? Anyone lookin? I might be able to arrange to ship to someone, but that would mean I would need to get a working paypal.

That looks like a great deal. I don’t want them bad enough to be worth messing with though.

I’d go so far as to split the set if someone wants half. I would eventually use another set and the deal is killer.

It is a great deal. However, you will have to flip and coin to see who will have the rear set (because the rear line must be cut + bleed where the front one will be a bit long but can be wrapped around the frame).

If you have a an olive you can often get by without bleeding if great care is exercised when cutting the line.

If you ride a lot in rocks and drop the uni, learning to bleed Maguras is a good skill to have. It’s not that hard to do with the basic bleed kit and the mineral oil isn’t nearly as caustic as DOT fluid.

I’m thinking it would ultimately end up on touring bars, so I would take the rear because it would probably need more than what is already there on the front. No chance anyone is in need of some in Butler, Dave?

There’s a beautiful schwinn giraffe in denver for only $100 here.

$300 Coker near LA

Somebody should grab this one. Not a spectacular deal, but a pretty good one. They may take a lower offer.
