Gam: circa 1940’s (U.S.) slang for leg. The UK version is substantially more lewd.
UPD: unplanned dismount.

Does anyone know who coined this?
Other favorite slang words of mine are:
muni- duh, mountain unicycling. A trademark of Pashley Cycles of England.
Credited to Duncan Castling?
shindentations- what happens when you fall without leg armor and with
most pedals (other than rubber). I first heard it on the newsgroup from
Sarah Miller?

hehe, you don’t know how right you are.
There is a pedal called the Shinburger made by a bike company called Brooklyn Machine Works. Take a look at the pedal, it would be nasty on the shins.
