Pictures of your latest ride

Did a ride to L’Agulhas, the most Southern tip of Africa where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet.

On this, one of the last fridays where I don’t have to go into work, the weather gods sent me a beautiful end-of-summer day. Of course it was my duty to enjoy the day to it’s fullest so I went uni-caching (geocaching on my unicycle).

It was a 18 mile round trip and during that I looked for 6 geocaches (and found 5), therefore it was a relaxed cylce, just what I needed after a highly stressed week.

I had forgotten to bring my MP3 player so hummed ‘Perfect Day’ to myself all the way along.

My only complaint is that the day went too quickly.

I would be very tempted to take that rock between the oceans.

Last weekend I went to the western plains zoo at Dubbo you can drive, walk, cycle, hire an electric car or ride your uni! I was with a group of 10 who used an electric car and a few bikes, the main loop road is about 6km with a lot of side trails(muni trails)At times I became the exhibit as I dont think many people had ever seen a unicycle before.A very fun day:)

Technically speaking this isn’t my latest ride, as the following day I did the Warwick race, and today I done 12 miles through deepest darkest Nottingham… but, well, who’ll notice if I bend the rules a bit

So, this was Saturday, a few miles outside of Matlock in the Peak District on a muni ride with Joe ‘these-up-hill-bits-are-all-ridable’ Marshall. Despite feeling broken by the end of it, it was a fantastic day, and finished off with some traditional fish and chips on the promenade at Matlock On Sea.

Out today on the Gower coast.
Not a breath of wind and not a cloud in the sky.
Perfect.

Oops! Right thanks.:o

It looks like a biker is pushing up that hill in the second photo.

He is.
It’s a steep hill.
I’m going to lie and say I made it up there no problem.

Had a really enjoyable muni ride through the Wombat Forest today, awesome Spring day.

Have also been messing around with the GPS watch, for a different pic of today’s ride:

today i did a new trail for my: first uphill by bus (right in front my door :sunglasses: ) to 1300 asl, riding up to 1600asl, hiking and carring the uni up to 1900m and down all the way to 450asl… it was great and including the flat 6km ride back home it took me, without the busride under 3 hours…

“Lookout” at Portuguese bend trail, rancho palos verdes, CA, overlooking the pacific ocean.

That bit of sea must be popular with waterskiers Terry
