Pictures of your latest ride

you snowhoarder- damn yeah you guys were in the flow ALL last winter, we were in the flow for one weekend.

The high country is really beautiful these days, trekking/riding around treeline is amazing now, 11,660’-14,000’ good stuff I was raised in the 110-120F heat, left as soon as I could. Hang in there. Your girls look great on their uni’s.

We be snowhoarding!

I’ve lived through two different world record snow falls, both times in Washington State. It’s nice to live where you can snow ski in the morning and water ski in the afternoon of the same day thirty miles apart.

Not an actual pic, but a mental pic:

I had just bought a broom at the store and was carrying on my shoulder as I was riding home. Rounded a blind corner and almost ran into a guy who was carrying 200 eggs. Somehow rider, unicycle, and broom went three different directions, none of which went for the eggs.

Aspenmike and bungeejoe, those pictures are AMAZING! Incredibly jealous you live in an area like that. =)

Riding in New Zealand the top of the Crown Range between Queenstown and Wanaka.

You make me jelouse haha  Awesome! Was it a good ride?

Great riding. If you are ever going down that way take your bike. Did lots of rides along the side of the lakes, up in the hills and just hooning around.

Did the ride from Treble Cone back to Wanaka on the 36. That was a nice ride but would have been better with breaks

Nice rides along the side of Tekapo as well

This thread should be renamed “Best Picture Thread.” Thats what its come to. I’m not complaining by all means, if anything I’m super jealous.

New Jersey has a very nice state park system and today I rode through part of Cheesequake State Park which is right off Exit 120 of the Garden State Parkway. It’s as woodsy as it gets for me. I start on the trail below and end up at the entrance to the park. There is a fairly steep hill along the ride, though it is on a section that is paved.

Cheesequake, of course, is a mispronunciation of a native American word.

Bellingham to Winthrop

These pictures are taken about two miles west of Washington Pass.

Hay JJuggle let me know if you are in the Voorhees NJ area give or take about 50 miles and would be interested in catching up.

Depending on time i may have to bring wife and tandem as well as uni

Hi Davey, I will let you know if I ever get down south. I don’t very often.

Matawan, where I live, and Vorhees are 75 miles apart which is a bit of a schlep.

Cheers.

Picture two: about 10 miles west of Rainy Pass.

BunjeeJoe, just wondering why you don’t use a T-bar or something similar? Have you ever tried one or do you just like to keep things as simple as possible? I can’t imagine doing any distance riding without one.

Took a quick spin this morning. I was pressed for time and did not take my leg armor along. Had trouble dismounting at a gate and got bit by my pedal.

@sal the one time you dont wear leg pads is the one time you get pedals bites.

Doing some 36er muni riding on the Seneca Creek Greenway trail in Gaithersburg, Maryland in preparation for the 50 mile MoCo Epic ride in October.
