Pictures of your latest ride continued

it’s fun  variety is the spice of life.

with this bike, you have your hands free to use your phone. I would need a longer seatpin for it though.

Same on a uni… plus more speed, if one is so inclined.

at least with 3 wheels you don’t have to idle, you’d be more stable when being distracted by your phone. I could imagine that such trikes aren’t allowed on the road here, because by law, bicycles must have a steer. The only reason unicycles are not in the categories of bicycles is because it has only 1 wheel. Though 3-wheelers are in the group of bikes. Governments aren’t known for their logic.

You can always mount a T-bar onto the seat :-P. Honestly, I still don’t quite see the point of such a vehicle. But I like the colour of the pictured one.

I do agree with you there. I didn’t feel the urge to get one, other than the BC Wheel that should arrive any day now… which reminds me I need to find some good wrist guards. Im not that good at rolling when I UPD and my first reaction is to catch myself with my hands.

No. Most of the time 13-15 km/h or faster. My High End speed with 117 mm cranks was by 26,1 km/h but it’s a speed peak.

So my last ride was to the work and from the work home. It was very nice to ride, because nobody was on the road and it was warm enough for the ride in the dark.

warm??? It was 5ºC in NL today. And it isn’t nice to ride in the dark.

Yes, warm enough for the ride. I love to ride in the dark.

i was thinking of a Saw movie remake

have seen people use these thingies in parades and for costuming options

That is reason enough to want one, if it strikes fear in people hearts
It’s a pity that Freddy Kruger didn’t ride a unicycle.

Actually,

I have to agree that riding in the dark can be quite interesting, fun, or even kinda magic.
I had my (at the time) fastest ride on my G29 in the dark. Simply because I didn’t realise just how fast I was. Wouldn’t have ridden that fast otherwise, since I didn’t wear all my protective gear.
And one of my favourite rides of all time was in Bern, during the night. I was zipping through the arcades of the old town, listening to some fitting music. During the day the arcades are way too crowded to ride fast. But at night, the impossible becomes possible. Magic!

well, i mean, $15, it’s hard to not want to noodle, and i think it’s a gateway drug

Actually I got some giftcards for my coming bday and I ordered a light-vest. It has white lights on the chest and red on the back. I dont yet know if it is only so others can see me or for me to see where Im going. Even though it is cold I will give it a try one of these days

Testing out a more weather-appropriate tyre.

It‘s appropriate if it is studded
Today we had the first snow falling this winter. But of course it melted again immediately. Maybe there‘s more to come in the next couple days. I sure hope so. Riding in the snow is so much fun.

I’m considering purchasing a studded tire soon, being that winter is only getting closer.

I can comfortably keep 2 unicycles in my dorm room, and I’m thinking of exchanging my 36er and 20” for my Club 26” with a studded tire if its icy and a Hatchet 26” for when it’s just really snowy. I was considering just getting a studded tire for the 20”, but I don’t want to ride the Nimbus II in the salt and crud, while the Club 26” has kinda become my all-weather unicycle

fy har I allerede sne. yuck. They talked about snow for NL, but I find it hard to believe.

The snow won’t last here either so I’d rather use a non studded tyre for when it clears.
