do you want the picture just to see who the guy is, because a picture of a stillstand isn’t going to be all that informative…
I want to see the guy!!
I want to see people in action, the still stand guy and the videos of the japaneese freestyle competitors.
Thanks!
For some reason I am really good at stillstanding. I have timed myself and my record is 93 seconds. I can consistently do 40.
I think the biggest thing to remember when stillstanding is anticipate. Its a lot easier and safer to do a small correction before you need it than a big one to save your balance.
for some reason im not good at still standing.my best(and average)is 10 / 11.5 seconds(Give or take 5 minutes).Any body have some tips to helpwith stillstands?I would like to go longer,I keep practicing but i dont get any better.
Does that credit as being a standstill?
What is the absolute definition? Some one please.
Therefore, we all know we are talking about the same thing here.
Cheers
JJ
here it is, according the "i"uf rulebook (page 41) and the usa rulebook (page 36)
Sorry, let me clarify. I mean corrections in balcance by leaning the body and tilting the arms, not hopping. I stand crucifix and tilt my arms almost inperceptably in anticipation of falling. The biggest part IMHO is preventing yourself from nearing the edge of the balance envelope. The closer you get to the edge, the faster it approaches.
Thanks.
