Lance truly must be feeling it though,he truly kicked his ass in the Alps 2 years later.i remember it well,Lance charged the mountain,Pantaini followed…then looked up and shook his head and said “your crazy” (in Italian) and let Armstrong go…that was the last ‘The Tour de France’ ever saw of ll Pirata…

As cyclist I didn’t understood much of some things, but my teammate Gert jakobs did: The other day he scored a truth world-record officially confirmed by professor Manfred Donike, committee from the FICP, UCI, and the IOC: the highest epi/testo-teron balance ever found!
After than he became totally bold in no-time, most likely sterile, en probably impotent.
Exchanging health and years of your life, for a villa in Monaco, sport-cars, boats, and babes…
A sidenote is that Manfred Donike died relative young and healthy under enormous suspicious circumstances, in international area. It is assumed that the former East-German secret service can be kept responsible. Especially there he wasn’t popular…
An absolute Gert Jakobs look-alike is Marco Pantani Today his liveless body was found . He became 34. In his room were found a lot of drugs as well…
His former team-mate Mario Chipolini says “this is true tragedy”. I think cyclists should read more often the other parts than the sport pages of newspapers. Also I think they should be teached the difference between unfair and stupid: was life unfair towards Marco Pantani, or was Marco Pantani stupid towards his life. My opinion is that it all is just a logical result, but again I don’t understand much of this part of cycling.
After I wrote above, a news-item apearred in a online-newspaper saying Marco complained in a note that nobody understood him, not even his family. Now I wonder; did he undertstand himself?
And while I write this I considering to cut the part about Manfred Donike. But suddenly I remember the suicide of Micha Detlef.
He was in the DDR team with Olaf Ludwig and Uwe Raab (who went to the Panasonic team of Peter Post, where the met Gert!Jan Theunisse -remember his dope events?-). But Micha could’nt start being part of that weird world where a $5 milion budget team could generate $300 milion costing TV-coverage seconds.
And where such a money is going arround poeple act just like as in the real world.
