I just saw this movie in school today. It was incredible. This is my new favorite movie. It was supposed to be sad but there were some funny parts, but it had a really sad ending. I thought that Jack Nicholson was very good in this movie. And Danny Devito was great. I heard that this was Danny Devito first movie, and people thought he was really part of the Mental Hospital, becuase his acting was so incredible. Well if you have seen this movie, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did, and if you haven’t I highly reccomend you go see it.
Yeah, fantastic movie…one of my favourites. Now go see “The Shining”.

read the book now, if you liked the movie, you’ll LOVE the book. the book is from the Chief’s point of view, so it’s very interesting. and it has a lot of other stuff in it, since you can’t really put what’s in the person’s mind into a movie… but it’s all in the book. really excellent. good movie too of course, but a better book.
…as is the case with “The Shining,” but try as you may, Jack Nicholson’s acting can never be put into words
