Non-marking tyres.

I’m new to all of this so wondered if anyone could help me please?

Where can I get non-marking tyres (for indoor use) and how do I tell if they are? Do they say on them?
The tyre currently on is a 20" X 2.125

Many thanks, mark

I suspect white tires are less likely to leave visible marks than black tires. I’m not sure about the other colours, they are probably mostly indoor friendly. If you ride a white tire in dirt and then inside it might leave marks.

There are some white tires at Unicycle.uk.com Primo and Gusset. You could possibly find something similar at a local bike store.

Thanks for that. I intend to swap back to normal tyre’s when using out doors.
Just hope that changing back and forth is not going to cause problems with the bearing holders.

Sounds like a good enough reason to add to your Uni stable!

“I HAD to buy another one love as this is an outside one and I can’t use it indoors…” :stuck_out_tongue:

If only I had the money!
Plus, i’m very new to this. Cant ride yet so dont think that excuse would go down too well.

FWIW, I’ve got a khaki green Primo Wall on my 20" and it doesn’t leave marks on hall/gym floors. I’d imagine most non-black tyres will be fine - in fact, the only ones I’ve seen that are really bad are soft rubber trials-type tyres.
