Does anyone know where to find those round wooden things used to hold cable? Miles (Mornish) has several of them but I forgot to ask him where he found them, and he’s nowhere to be found at the moment. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!
construction sites. you might have to pay a little because there is a deposit on them, but they should be pretty cheap.
That’s what I thought, but so far dozens of sites checked but only pallets.
that sucks… maybe you could ask an electric company, that lays down phonelines and powerlines. they probally have some. worst comes to worst you could make your own.
Find a distributor of wire and cable. There’s one here in Santa Clara and they have a small mountain (~12 ft high) of spools in their lot. Too bad most of them won’t fit in my Subaru!
