Hi, @Horsethief!
Try a bigger uni, which would be less “nervous” than yours are (as I found from your profile, they are 20", right?). I think 24" with 137 mm cranks and 3" tire would be great because you would have more time for balance.

I am not so experienced unicyclist, having only ca. 5 years experience, and I’m 70 years young.

My 24" uni with 145 mm cranks and 3" thick tire is the most friendly for me among all the creatures in my Zoo (29" Nimbus with 100/125/150 cranks, 26" YouNeverKnowWhat with 125/150 mm cranks and 3" thick tire, which is also friendly, and, finally, 20" QU-AX Luxus with 114 mm cranks and thin 1.95" tire).

However, it all depends on the tasks that you set for yourself.

Good luck and keep riding!
