I’m not sure they are true QR clamps, just ‘Qer R’ Looks like you still need to loosen one bolt to open the bearing holder.

I wish they made 29er frames with disc mount tabs. Swapping in 24-29" wheels would be a snap with the QR dropouts! With disc brakes, wheel size doesn’t matter, so you don’t have to mess with the brakes when swapping wheels! One frame, and different wheels has to be cheaper than 3 complete unis, and can address several applications! You could have a 24" commuter, swap wheels and have a street uni in minutes!
Yeah it’ll just cut the time in half
That’s a brilliant idea!
that is 10 buck per tube tho
Only around £1 more than a normal tube here in the UK.
can you get them in the UK?
Not that I know of, I just converted the price from $ to £.
Lol you don’t have to take the frame off anyway, I never do. Replacing a tube you need to take the frame off, sure, but patching can be done without taking the frame off, just a bit harder to find the hole.
every hole i get to patch is because of the rim strip moving
Just tape it down.
OMGGGGGGGGGGGGG they’re so beautiful on the complete uni
I do. i use tape
My rim strip NEVER moves, it’s a really tight fit around my rim!
Are you sure you’re using the right size rim strip?
the first one to move was the one that came with my K1 and the second was a KH. and now i use ducktape.
How can a rim strip move anyway? It’s supposed to be stuck on the rim with the valve and the pressure of the tube. How much pressure do you ride in your tire? I use a duck tape rim tape and I’ve never had problems with it.
I dont now. I run 25-30 psi. the koxx one ripped on the rim hole because it had 45psi in it.
Its not so much that the tape moves, its that when you do a drop etc your tube compresses and sneaks its way inbetween the tape and the sharp rim.
a pinch flat is where you pinch the tube between the rim and the ground, theres thousands of ways it happens, just run higher tyre pressure or ride smoother
