new DX frame pictures....

Its not quite big enough to be a 24".

WAY TO MUCH CLEARANCE TORKER!!! i just got the '06 model and it has plenty of clearance!!! ahhhhhh! it looks UGLY!!!

ahh yes i like the older model better because of the clearance

But you wouldn’t like the frame snapping.

I read that i guess i just read right over it

i didnt really notice a weight difference, but it’s not heavier… if anything it is the same weight.

the brake mounts do seem to be in the proper place…

i dont think a 24 would fit in there…

i dont really like the clearance thing either, my friend doesnt care, but i like the clearance on my 06 better… i’m just worried about mine snapping though.

If I ever got a torker (I won’t but play along) then I wouldn’t care about that clearance because the first thing I would probably do would be to throw away the frame and replace it with a yuni or bedford, those things are just soo heavy, and I think the hub and crankset is pretty heavy too. I don’t care about weight that much (I rode a summit frame for a long time) but I have ridden the torkers and it feels like a brick.

sounds about right.

the frame already has too much clearance…so you put more on???

it doesnt make sense

who cares about frame snapping, you just email torker and they send you a new frame

Because sometimes they can snap without severl days. meaning you could have to replace your frame a couple times a week.

And thoes cranks are blood makers… it looks like it would KILL your ancles.. i dont like the DX at all now that i see it, and i dont like the newer one even more.

Its a great uni for the price. Its just as, or even stronger than kh, Thoughit may be heavy, it does th job. Not to mention you save half the money.

i love my torker it feels indestructible. the weight doesnt bother me, just makes it seem stronger

the weight doesnt bother me either. i love my dx

that is what i thaught untill i got my kh frame, now i LOVE the reduced weight… My uni is only 1.5 lbs lighter than b4 i got my kh frame, but it is making a HUGE difference to me… but with the price difference, i can see why the dx is a good uni, but i am young, have a job, no bills, so i go the kh frame.lol.

Because you don’t “just email torker”, you have to send the damn frame back to them, so they can look at it and determine if it was a “manufacturers error”. You end up spending like 30$ shipping it to them and back, if you live far enough away, and buying a nimbus frame that won’t break for 50$ is much more worth it.

It’s also different when you actually have the uni and the frame breaks and that’s the only uni you have. You don’t just not care.

the new one is the same one thats been pictured on udc for the last year

No it isn’t…

just out of curiosity…if your frame were to snap, do they send you the new frame? or the old one?..and is a good frame really only 50$?
