I have had foot problems, specifically Sever’s disease, that randomly make my feet hurt when walking and especially running. This was a big reason I started riding my unicycle so much, it doesn’t put as much strain on my feet

When I broke my toe, I noticed that riding was way less painful than walking!
It was difficult to walk but I had no issue riding.
