I’m a cyclist and did a 18hr race this weekend in VA. I was amazed to see two Muni’s doing the race as a duo (I think two brothers, one of which may post here under “hellonwheel”).
I don’t how you guys keep your balance on flat ground let alone on wet rooty trails - it was inspiring to see the effort that went into riding the trails and certainly kept me out on the trails longer knowing that if they could hack it I had no excuse to throw in the towel early.
It was also fun to see a 36er in person even if it wasn’t offroad. It was quite the attraction after breakfast!
