How interesting! Actually, I am a lexicographer by profession (see www.cjk.org)
and quite a number of years ago started compiling a multilingual dictionary of
unicycling terminology in English, Japanese, German, Chinese, Spanish and some
other languages. I have distributed some of these materials and have the facilities
and will, but not the time, to compile and publish such a dictionary. It would
include many cross-references, functioning as a thesaurus as well.

I am extremely busy running my company but if you and some others volunteers
can help I can coordinate the project and manage the database. I suggested
this a couple of times before, but work pressure always prevented me from going
ahead. Maybe I will assign one of our staff to it… I am not promising anything
right away – maybe we can discuss it in UXI – bud I do have a strong interest
in this.

I would be very happy and interested in volunteering and helping out with a project
like this. When you’re ready to start coordinating this, please contact me. Hmm, maybe
we can discuss it at the LBI Unithon, which is about as far as I’ll be getting this summer.
You’re coming, right, Jack?

I’ve said this before: While not willing to take up a
leading/coordinating role, I am interested to contribute to the Dutch
department for the dictionary/thesaurus. Communications should go via
the group or private e-mail, as I currently have no plans to go to UXI
or any other convention.
