Most Unicycle-Friendly Roach Short?

What style of Roach shorts are most preferred by unicyclists?
Any body here using the shorts with the inserted tailbone pad?
Bulky but do-able?

I would very much like to hear feed-back on the tailbone protection; this is hands down my least protected, most likely to be hurt in location if it takes a fall.

My favorite Roach shorts are the Swade shorts, which extend just over the knee, overlapping with
your armor. Note though that they’re baggier than some people might like.

Most Roach shorts can be ordered with the tailbone and hip pad inserts- all Roach does is sew a
velcro patch on the back and one on each side, to which the pads can be velcroed. Overall they
work really well although I think the hip pads are more effective than the tailbone pads.

The tailbone pad does nothing. I took it out. I usually wear the downhill pants with the shin and hip pads in so I don’t have to wear shin gaurds.
