I realize it’s two days early but in an hour or so it’s “over the river and through the woods, to grandmothers house we go” and I may not be online again until after Christmas.

not to be the grinch but…
I’m pretty sure, if i’ve done my research well enough, that Christmas is a bogus holiday to all you Jesus believers out there…supposedly Jesus was born on christmas but he was actually born in spring…the reason christmas is now is because early christians were prosecuted for being christians by the peagans who had a holiday at this time celebrating the winter solstice. So the Christians just celebrated Jesus’s birthday then so everyone would just think they were celebrating the winter solstice so they wouldn’t get killed…so yea…I don’t really know if thats positivly true or not…but i think it is…but I still like christmas cause it means presents! no offense to all you christians out there!
That’s what I’ve heard too!! And basically all the Christmas traditions are Pagan…such as the evergreen tree, green during the winter symbolizes eternal life, and also, the Pagan holiday at this time is specifically called Yule, which is now part of the word Yuletide which just means Christmassy.
Thats good to know that some1 else has heard the same thing… cause most of the time when I tell some1 what i said they question my sanity
Ive heard the same thing and there was some stuff about it on tv a few days ago. I missed it because I was downstairs and didnt notice it was on until it was just getting over.
