In Trail Bike Monthly, bizarrely enough a UK motorbike magazine

The link worked fine when I tried it.
The authors just had to phrase the article the way they did because it would have cost them too much to really admit how impressed they were by your performance.
Nice job.

I had to take out the “http” and it hit just fine, so:

odin.prohosting.com/~jmjmjm/joeunicycle.jpg

Unless your browser insists on adding http- like mine does ;(.

Re: meeeeeee

The link is right, it just objects to being opened in a blank window or
something. I think my free webspace doesn’t like not having an http referrer
sent to it.

If you copy + paste the url into your browser window it works, or

click the link, type a letter on the end of the address, press enter, then
delete the letter, press enter.

or
<a href=“http://odin.prohosting.com/~jmjmjm/joeunicycle.jpg”>maybe this link
will work?</a>

Freaking awsome write up, Joe! WHoooooooooo hoooooo! You’ze 'da man! Heh, heh- ‘Joe Marshall- Total Hero’.

Christopher

Good cover, Joe. I still say it takes twice the man to ride half the bike. You’ve proven it again.

Re: meeeeeee

Nice one, nice picture too. I like the broken bike in the foreground, and
you just pedalling past happily (or is that painfully?)

All the positive press unicycling seems to be getting recently can do us
nothing but good. Although I am worried that unicycling might suddenly
become a bit to mainstream. I kinda like being different!

)I feel the same way.

Actitivies which take 10 hours of hard work and pain to reach a level
of minimal competence don’t tend to become mainstream.

I say it takes twice the time to ride half the bike.

I’ve proven this several times!

Joe

Re: Re: meeeeeee

Yes but it’s all about the ride, Joe…not the time.

Noooooo, you don’t understand. It’s all about the unhealthy pub lunch that
you’re riding to get to. The quicker you ride the faster you get yummy food.
It isn’t a coincidence that one of my favourite rides ends right next to a
pub that sells lovely thai food.

Do Americans have country pubs? Pub lunches? I suspect it’s an English
thing.
