Meaning of unicycles in dreams.

Take from Dream Moods Dream Dictionary: Meanings For Symbols That Begin With U

Unicycle

To dream that you are riding a unicycle, signifies that you are in total control of a situation and exercising authority in both personal and business matters.

It’s interesting. Many times when I am very close to getting a skill, but can’t quite grasp it, I’ll have a dream in which I perform the skill flawlessly. It feels exactly the way I know it would feel, and this confidence has always led to me perfecting the skill the following morning out of sheer determination to get back to the feeling I had in the dream. It has also helped me, when I dream about overcoming scary gaps or obstacles. I gapped from a freemount on one 2 foot by 2 foot block, to another that was 4 feet away, with 7 feet straight down to water on either side. I was only able to summon the courage to do it, after dreaming about it the night before. Maybe my brain is impatient, and wants me to learn in my sleep! Hopefully, I’ll dream about one foot riding today, as I’m getting very close!

What does it mean when you UPD in your dream

Gary

Hmmm, sounds good, but does it really mean that if you dream about riding a uni you’re a control freak, or does it mean that you’re only in control… in your dreams?

…To ride a unicycle while you are dreaming… signifies that you are in total control of a situation and exercising authority in both personal and business matters.

Re: Meaning of unicycles in dreams.

My dream UPDs are always nasty, near fatal events
of the sort that can make one wake suddenly with a start.
Mind you, my waking UPDs aren’t a lot better

I’m sorry to be the one jerk who takes this seriously, but unicycling in a dream would only hold that meaning if you had only a casual familiarity with unicycling - like those geniuses who ask “where’s the other wheel”.

Since we are knee deep in unicycling and do it everyday, dreaming about a unicycle should have no greater significance than dreaming about your car or your house.

I can definitely see, though, how dreaming about different skills can be caused by and can help with practicing those skills. I wish I would hurry up and dream about idling…this is getting ridiculous.

“Can YOU name a truck with four wheel drive, that smells like a steak, and seats thirty-five?”

I like it! For those of us who have unicycling in our real lives, it’s got
to be a good thing.

HURRAY FOR BAGPIPERBOY! I was hoping someone would get my question. You are never far from simpson’s fans… Kudos, and I think I’ll change it to something new now…

So what does it mean if your dream is about your 5 year son old trying
to run you down on his unicycle?

I had this dream a couple of nights ago.

I can see AccordNSX being deprived from his favourite pastime because
of his injury. During the nights he dreams of nothing but unicycling,
and during the day he has all the time in the world to get on the
internet and search for the meaning of his dreams. Thanks anyway!

I have way too much free time. I’m memorizing all the prices on the unicycle.com website, along with constructing the unicycles that I plan to buy in the semi-near future.

The meaning seems evident, especially when combined with:

>To dream that you are riding a unicycle, signifies that you are in total
>control of a situation and exercising authority in both personal and
>business matters.

Clearly, you “fear” that he surpasses your unicycling skill level.

MINE!

“I can definitely see, though, how dreaming about different skills can be caused by and can help with practicing those skills. I wish I would hurry up and dream about idling…this is getting ridiculous.”

the good news is that it seems that is possible
it’s called visualisation and several research teams have shown that groups visualising skills matches the improvement by groups practising those same skills

as cybeross pointed out, when u try to recapture the way it felt, u r on your way to a breakthru
while learning a skill, it pays to pay attention to the small details of the couple of moments of success u have along the way
duplicate the feeling and u can duplicate the achievement

u’ve seen idling being done, u’ve idled a couple of pedal revs
sit down, get comfortable, close your eyes and put the whole thing together in your head
see yourself do the whole idle maneuvre correcting your posture, balance and focal point as u go along
do this for a while
and then try it on the machine
if it doesn’t work u can tell me to shut up

brought it here, attributing it to
