I have two single sets of Magura hydraulic rim brakes for sale.
Set 1 is a single set of HS33 brakes, red and black with a red booster plate. (Brake booster is Magura standard size and does not fit over 3" tyre. However Roger Davis has a few ideas on that score involving carbon fibre so don’t let this put you off.)
Set 2 is a single set of HS66 brakes, coloured silver with drop handle lever (drop handle brings end of lever closer to finger tips)
Note that the single sided quick release fitting has been removed from both units but will still attach to brake bosses using supplied standard bolts. I have a trim and bleed kit for my own use so will be happy to customise the hoses to fit your rig.
Will accept sensible offers (if no sensible offers will retain for spares or parts). Offers should take account of the postage from SE England to your home address.
Brakes can be made available for inspection at the BUC in April. (where you hopefully will also be able to see what a customised Nimbus II frame looks like with a set of brakes fitted)
I would love one of the magura brakes, I have been searching unicycle.com for some single ones with no luck, I actually called 1800unicycle this morning and left a message with them, would $50.00 do it (american money) is that a reasonable price? thank you

Well the pair of HS66’s cost me £180 and the pair of HS33’s cost £150.
Given that I’ve already stripped the quick release off of the spare sets and you can currently get a single HS33 from the internet at £60 not including the extra £20 for the service kit and oil to help trim the hoses (something I’m pissed about given I just lashed out £150 for a pair - but then I’d never of struck on the idea of swapping the quick releases over) . I’d consider an offer of £45>50 for the single HS33 pre-trimmed and bled to your uni specs a fair price.
As for the HS66 - well, you just can’t buy a single which is why I had to spend so much on the pair. I’d be looking for around £60>£70. Still less than buying a pair between two.
By the way, you can buy spare quick releases from ChainReactions at £9.99 each so just because I’m not selling them with QR’s doesn’t mean they have to stay that way.
Sorry Bagpiperboy but prices over here are about the same in pounds as you pay in dollars and then you have to add on the cost of shipping and import taxes. Despite US prices for Magura being being high (best I’ve seen on a quick trawl was $180 for a pair of HS33’s) you’d still be better clubbing in with someone and buying a pair between you than trying to import my single set.
