Looking forward to the BMW

Two days spent unicycling in beautiful suroundings, routes that take in forest
track, ridgetop vistas, sandy heath land and an ancient hill fort. A camp site
with free hot showers, well stocked shop and a special unicyclists discount…

It’s not a dream, its all part of the British Muni Weekend. The BMW is only two
months away, will you be part of it?

Paul and I spent this weekend visting Jerry at the Inside Park, sussing out some
routes and discussing plans for the BMW. The camp site is first class with lots
of room for tents, RVs and caravans, Jerry plans to let the BMW have a section
of the park to ourselves, yet only a 30 second uni from the shop, games hall and
wash rooms.

We rode two possible routes, one for dry conditions taking in a stonking hill
climb followed by ridgetop tracks with veiws to the purbeck hills and a nice
picnic spot part way round ,the way home includes a long downhill section just
right for working off those butties.

An option for damper ground conditions or less experienced riders wooould be a
trip to Wareham forest where the three of us had a great morning riding sandy
tracks , lots of fairly flat stuff with harder technical single track around in
the trees for those who like that kind of 'look out of that tree / hole/ rock ’
kind of path. This heath land is perfect early muni teritory.

So, all bodes well for a cracking time at the BMW in May. Come and join us, you
know you want to. sarah
