Lock uni

Help me please. I want to ride to school on my unic, but how do you
lock it up!?!

I ride a unicycle to class every day here at CWRU, and I just carry a
small lock in my pocket. It looks like a padlock, only instead of the
metal "U", it's got about a foot and a half of plastic coated cable.
It's not a kryptonite lock, but then, I doubt there's a huge resale
market for stolen unicycles. I've been doing this for four years in
metropolitan Cleveland, so I think it's probably safe enough. A unicycle
will sit pretty easily in a standard bike rack, and with a little
creativity, you can chain it to railings, fences, or whatever else. Hope
    this helps!

I too rode my uni while at CWRU. I ALWAYS brought my unicycle into class with
me. As long as you looked like you knew what you were doing, noone questioned
you. Its not like many places have rules saying “No Unicycles”.

I ride a unicycle to lectures. Once I was late and stood it in the corner of
the lecture theatre - no problems there. I usually lock it to railings
outside the library. A D-lock passes through the spokes, passing either side
of the fork and holds it to an upright railing. A cable with a loop on each
end passes from one side of the D-lock, up through the front grab rail, round
the rail to hold the uni upright (also to stop the spokes getting bent and to
keep my quick release saddle safe), down through the back grab rail and onto
the other side of the lock.

Note that you need a fairly narrow rail to use a D-lock. Anything more than
about 3" diameter would probably cause me problems.
