KH24.tw review

Greetings,

I just posted a review of the KH24 produced in Taiwan over on the
product review forum. I have a lot of nice images as well (some of it
disasmbled). I will post them to the gallery tonight.

Cheers,

Jason

Excellent review! Very thorough and interesting.

Nikki

Yes. I’ll weigh it tonight for you.

Really good review Jason. I am so happy for you. You are now pa pa MUni man! Both you and your son will have loads of fun on your MUni’s.
There is a big difference to riding a MUni on trails rather than a Trials uni, eh? The trials is a really fun toy but on trails and rough terrain there’s nothing like a MUni for the most exquisite of rides.

I am getting my Bedford MUni with the 3 inch Gazz tire this week… gonna be big fun coming up during Spring Break next week… MUni, MUni, MUni…

cheers,
Erin

Jason,
I knew you’d love it. Congratulations! Nice write up as well.
I’ve got a lot of nice unicycles and I have the most fun and spend the most saddle time on my KH24.
I’ve had mine since just after Xmas and I’ve put some very hard miles on it. It hasn’t missed a beat.
Have fun.

Hi Erin,

Indeed the difference is quite noticeable. We’re still waiting for
summer here in Alaska. Right now the trails have a lot of ice.
Unfortunately I’m avoiding ice due to an injury (not from unicycling)
and it’s limiting my rides. I can’t wait for summer so I can ride hard
and ride often.

Alright, good for you! I’ve never had a tire anything like the
Gazzaloddi, it’s just plain big and bouncy. I’m sure you’re going to
enjoy your Bedford.

Cheers,

Jason

Thanks Frank. You’re previous review and advice was one of the primary
reasons I purchased the KH24. I think it will provide me with many hours
of riding fun.

I still haven’t applied the copper anti-seize. Should I apply it to the
entire shaft of the spline, or shall I use it sparingly?

Cheers,
Jason

Re: KH24.tw review

Entire shaft and liberally so, I believe is the preferred application. Wait… is this alt.sex.lubricants? Crap, wrong newsgroup again – why does this always happen? Last time, I posted to rec.photo.technique.people about “profiles”. I didn’t understand why everyone was talking about shadows and side-angles…

Later,
Eli.

Jason,
As for the anti-seize application, too much and it will just squirt out of the other end and you’ll have to clean it up. I went for 100% coverage of the splined section, a good liberal coating. It’s still doing the trick, no noise at all.

Re: KH24.tw review

Great review Jason of what looks like an awesome MUnicycle. Congrats!

As to King Muni-Man who would like feedback: I would say he and his
16" unicycle look so SMALL next to the KH24 - but that might not be
the thing he’d like to hear. He’s very lucky to have a papa to go
MUni’ing with at the age of 6 - at that age I could not even -dream-
of that.

Thanks michaeli and Frank A.

I’ll smother my spine shaft in anti-seize before my next ride… Err,
ahh you know what I mean.

Cheers,

Jason
