hi, how strong is that hub/crankset? how much abuse could it take on a trials uni?
see ya, Kevin
The bigger question, it seems, is: just how far out do the cranks stick at the axle, and will they drive me crazy from being jabbed in the ankle?
-C
I don’t get it.
Why not just save up an extra $112 and get the Profile setup? I think the warranty alone would justify the extra cost.
And on top of that, the Profile is a domestic product, whereas the KH is probably made in Taiwan. I’m not going to make any assumptions about what sort of conditions these products are manufactured under, but I feel like there’s a higher likelyhood of workers being paid fair wages when they’re working in the U.S.

Yeah Im not sure if its worth the current price now either. A LIFETIME warentee on parts is a big deal. You can switch that out as the years go by and still have something thats backed by a garentee. I was really hoping the cost of the KH hub and cranks would come to like 150 or under. but virtually $200 the profile might sitll be the better option. (on a + for trials riders you can get 140mm cranks)
Chex (pondering if he has any money for unicycles)
Dude, you must, simply must, come have a talk with my employer: despite evidence to the contrary, they insist Mississippi isn’t in the US- and so their wages need’nt be.
