KH 2007 Products- details & info are here

Great suggestion, Spencer! I’d like that too!

or make it bigger, it might be ok if it were bigger…my problem is i have a thumb that shorter than the other and it mad thick and its flat (spoonthumb) and so sometimes it will just fit through the hole and then turn sideway but it hurts like a son of a gun when that happens…i was also thinkin about plastic deathgrip handles that would be ill to…

I’m working on some saddle stuff but it is long process and pretty expensive- you can blow $20k quite easily in developing new molds and tooling and designs. So hopefully in future there will be some improvements, but probably later rather than sooner.

Kris

No, I agree with Spencer, there really is no reason at all for there to even be a hole there. Making it bigger will just weaken it and will still allow you get get caught in it. I see no reason for it.

i just thought id throw it out there…i really wanna see some plastic deathgrip handles…that would make my year

Kris, how soon could we expect to see the updated KH models released? The changes being semi-longneck frame for the 20", less tyre clearance for all the frames, a black hub and hopefully some nice colour options. And any others too

I’m guessing since right now that Kris is taking some concept ideas from riders/customers, it’ll be a good little while, a couple of months perhaps? 'Cos it takes time to sort changes out with the factory in Taiwan.

Would be sweet to see 08 models. Sounds like a whole bunch of massive upgrades over the 07

Yes it takes a long time. From conception to being on the market, most stuff takes close to a year.

Kris

Yes
Kris please think about this idea. Using tape to cover this hole just makes a mess of the handle and looks prettty bad. I would love to have a handle without the hole.

Hey, me too! Especially lately. Nearly had my finger ripped off a few times. And you don’t really need the hole anyway.

Try a bung. (AKA a cork)

Might be an immediate solution.

It’s Christmas time! Did you/Florian manage to get the hubs ready?

Kind regards and merry Christmas,
Wolfgang

kris, i know this request is a Longshot, but i think you should start developing a more flatland oreinted crank…i love my moments but ill be honest, they suck for anything flatland so right now i am probably going to pickup some quax isis cranks…even if you just brought back the old kh onza design in ISIS that would be good…maybe in lengths of 115 and 130? I think that that would be a really good idea…

i was thinking the other day, while riding my mtb whilst holding my unicycle in my left hand, how tired my left hand was getting. than i thought how awsome it would be to have a back pack sort of thing designed to hold a unicycle. like velcro/ bucke straps that will securely hold your unicycle on your back comfortably.

i dont know if this has been mentioned already but it would be really useful for us whos only mode of transportation is a bike.

the moment is actaully not a bad crank for flatland. all you need to do is put some grip tape on them and they work great.

the most amazing thing about them is that you’ll never catch your pants or ankles on them. not to meantion the strength

ha i prolly just suck at flat then:D

They aren’t too bad for flat, but other crank styles are definitely better. But it is definitely nice that they don’t hit your ankles.

Tubular cranks seem to be more suited for standing on than aluminium block cranks.

Perhaps giving the Qu-Ax ISIS cranks a shot would be OK… but they have nubs.

Alternatively… Koxx could swallow their pride and start producing their hubs and cranks in the world’s ISIS standard and not their special one. Long-term wise, their sales would boost for sure…

and we all know thats not gonna happen…
