I guess I have something different 'cause I’m not raw, I have bruising. I’m still learning and I’ve taken some awkward spills. A couple times I’ve landed on the seat when I tried to bail out. It’s not too bad until I start practicing the next day and then I notice how tender I am.
So, is there no inner-thigh protection available?
BTW, I wear jeans and have a standard torker seat (see image under my name to left) but I’m not chaffing, so I guess that doesn’t matter.
Your inner-thigh bruising problems are probably related to falling to the side and not being able to get off of the uni in time. These kind of UPDs will diminish with practise.
You may also not yet be spending enough time in the saddle for chaffing to become a problem. If it does later on, you know where to come for a bunch of suggestions.
and if you feel uncomfy wearing cycling shorts, u can cover your seat/saddle in the same material. using you seat handles to keep it in place, i did this and it seriously reduces this problem, as for upd’s they are bound to bruse your gooch if u fckup
