It's oh so quiet... ssshhhh, sssshhhh...

…because by the looks of it unicyclist.com has died a bit…

<tumbleweed rolls across the floor>

Well… unicycling, then… what’s it all about? Really? When you get
right down to it?

Phil,

I was just thinking this very thought…

By the way my five year old launched into the abyss yesterday! I’ll be
posting his progress later, but he’s moving right along.

Cheers,

Jason

Luckily there are us, smarty pants, who know other ways of posting on
rec.sport.unicycling. So how is Unicon coming guys, I am still
confused on when “Into The Thunder Dragon” is showing, but hopefully
it will be on tomorrow. BURN THE TUMBLEWEED!!!

Re: It’s oh so quiet… ssshhhh, sssshhhh…

It’s, oh, so still
Shhhh, Shhhh
You’re all alone
And so peaceful until…

Probably the end of Unicon.

If you mean when will the video be broadcast on television, Kris said that
it has been delayed. It was supposed to air during UNICON 11 but now it
will be sometime later.

If you mean when will it be shown at UNICON: it already has been. Kris
does has a VHS copy though, so find a VCR, TV, and Kris at the same time and
I’m sure you could watch it.

This probably has something to do with the whole Unicyclist.com being
down?? Any News on that. I personally hate using Google’s Groups to
look at the page vr Gilby’s nice Clean Layout.

Re: It’s oh so quiet… ssshhhh, sssshhhh…

It is so quiet because… we are having so much fun… and are sooo
tired.
World Champ for Open X was Nik Caffroy of Washington, he is only 14, runner up
was the National Open X champ Zach Vaughn,
(who broke the long jump record today, sorry too tired to repeat numbers
correctly)
We finished our first day at the track for UNICON.(but our 11th day of hard
work) Road gliding was the very last event and I won’t mention that Josue B.
was the last and the longest.

I presume the email thingy doesn’t work either… I’ve reverted to using a
normal newsreader; much quicker than google. Possibly quicker than
unicyclist.com but not as shiny and nice and stuff…

I’m posting from Unicyclist.com now. It was down earlier today, but it seems to be OK now. I imagine a lot of the loss in traffic can be blamed on UNICON. I just got back yesterday (I had to leave early.) The fact that Unicyclist.com was down could probably also be attributed to UNICON, since Gilby is there - at least he was monday night. I saw his freestyle routine - as with many others, it was quite fantastic.

HOPE YOU ENJOYED THE QUIET WHILE IT LASTED!
'CAUSE WE’RE BACK, AND THE SILENCE IS NOW OVER!

What burns me, though, is that the spammers were able to make it through even thought the site was down.

Oh, well…

Durn spammers, My mom was going to get me a spam shirt and I was like, noooooooooooooooooooo, she didn’t understand.

Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

DUDE! Did you like, write that for your lit class or something? Wow! Like, I really liked the parts about rage and dying! Write some more soon, dude!
